I had a lovely stay at this hotel in Ciutat Vella. The room was clean and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. though it could have used a mini fridge. The location was incredibly convenient, very close to the main attractions like Las Ramblas and Placa Catalunya, but I did find the entrance a bit tricky. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, thanks to the friendly staff and great breakfast options.

The room was clean and equipped with essentials like a coffee machine and toiletries. although I wished there were drawers for storage. I appreciated the comfortable bed and the air conditioning, which was effective.

The service from the reception team was excellent. Carlos and Daniel were especially helpful, assisting me with tickets to Gaudi that were otherwise sold out. they were friendly and attentive throughout my stay.

My stay at this hotel was quite enjoyable thanks to its fantastic location and friendly service. The rooms were spacious and had great amenities like a rooftop jacuzzi. However, I did experience noise issues from the street and neighboring rooms, which made it hard to sleep at times.

Rooms
6.0
The room I stayed in was generously sized, and having a balcony was a nice touch (perfect for enjoying the city's vibe). However, the bed was uncomfortably hard, which took a toll on my back after several nights. The connectivity with the other room was unsettling, as I could hear everything from next door.
Service

The staff were incredibly helpful, especially one gentleman during the day who assisted me with booking tickets to popular attractions like Park Guell and Sagrada Familia. Their hospitality created a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout my stay.
Location

The hotel's location was perfect, just a short walk from La Rambla and other central tourist attractions, yet tucked away enough to feel less touristy. I loved being close to Universitat and Catalunya metro stations for easy commuting around the city.
Dining

While I found the breakfast options at the hotel a bit overpriced for what was offered, there were plenty of charming local cafes nearby for a delicious and affordable meal. I enjoyed a lovely breakfast about five doors down for under €10 for two.

The rooftop jacuzzi was a relaxing highlight of my stay, offering a beautiful view of the city. However, I did find the overall decor of the room a bit dated, and some little things could use improvement.

I had a generally good experience staying at the hotel in Ciutat Vella, primarily due to its fantastic location just a short walk from La Ramblas. The room was clean and comfortable, but the noise from neighboring rooms made it challenging for a light sleeper like me. While the breakfast was sufficient, I wished there were more variety, especially vegetables. Overall, it was a solid choice for budget-conscious travelers despite some minor drawbacks.

I stayed at Ciutat Vella for three nights, and overall, it was a great experience. The hotel is exceptionally clean and tidy, and the location is unbeatable, just a stone's throw from La Rambla. However, I did find the room a bit basic and the noise level from the street could be distracting at times.

Rooms

My room was basic yet had everything I needed, including a safe and a great shower. I appreciated having a balcony for people watching, but the space itself was quite small and on the noisy side due to nearby bars.

The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were generally friendly and helpful. However, I did have an encounter that resulted in poor customer service regarding an accident in the hotel, which left a sour impression.

I loved spending time in the rooftop jacuzzi, which was a peaceful escape even amidst the bustling city. However, some areas like the lounge felt a bit narrow, which could be less inviting during peak times.

I had a great time at Ciutat Vella! The location is unbeatable, just a five-minute walk to La Rambla, and the rooftop jacuzzi was a lovely retreat. My only complaints would be about the noise from nearby bars and that my room could have used some more amenities. Overall, it was good value for money, and I would definitely recommend it.
